Santiago Airport (SCL) is about 20 km from the center; the official buses (Centropuerto and Turbus) are the cheapest option, plus there are official metered taxis, transfers and apps. The excellent Santiago Metro, clean and punctual, covers most of the city with the Bip! card. Day trips run from Santiago to Valparaíso and the Maipo Valley wineries.
